Ordering Repeat Prescriptions

From 1st August 2023, please ALLOW 4 WORKING DAYS for repeat prescriptions to be dispensed.
Why is this changing?
This is to ensure that the dispensary team has enough time to process, order, dispense and prepare your prescription ready for collection. If you have a mobile number and have given consent for us to contact you, we will text you when your prescription is ready to collect.

How can I order my medication?
Use the NHS App
This is the quickest and easiest way for you to order the medication you need, and gets your request to the dispensary team promptly.
If you don't already have the NHS App please see here for information about how to install the app on a phone or tablet. You can also create an NHS login and get access to all the same options on a laptop or PC here
Phone the Surgery and Leave a Message
Phone the surgery on 01439 788215 and choose Option 2 to leave a message with your repeat medication request.
The dispensary team monitor the answering service throughout the day and will process your medication request.
Use the Slip in Your Prescription Bag
Tick the medication you need and hand the slip into the surgery reception or post it through the surgery letter box 4 full working days before you need your medication.
Prescription Delivery Service
We provide a delivery service, ideal for housebound patients. To use the service you need to arrange this with a dispenser at least 4 working days before the delivery is due (except if on weekly deliveries), and you will need to be in to sign for the prescription.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Practice Nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
